Spectral imaging
H Spectral Imaging is a modern tool provided by advanced multispectral and hyperspectral imagers. These systems are capable of recording and analyzing high-definition images into multiple regions, of larger or smaller range, of the electromagnetic spectrum. With this method it is possible to examine each pixel, i.e.. of each point of the work being examined, obtaining a full range, and forming a complete a spectral cube of the work which contains both spectral and spatial information. This technique examines the radiation reflected, or scattered, by the points of a work as wavelength points in the ultraviolet, visible and near infrared region, and is be able to provide useful information on the characterization and mapping of its materials.
